Territorial military training centre

Provides systematic military training for newly created units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Territorial Defence and volunteer formations. It brings together experienced and highly qualified foreign and Ukrainian instructors.

TERRITORIAL MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE started its work at the end of February 2022. The rapid increase in the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the deployment of the Territorial Defence Forces and the creation of volunteer formations quickly exhausted the educational potential of the current Ukrainian military training system. Therefore, the Centre became one of those institutions that currently provide training for new recruits together with the training centres of the Armed Forces.

Currently, the Centre is a group of highly qualified and experienced instructors from Ukraine, Lithuania, Germany, Great Britain and other countries. Of course, its personnel are constantly changing. Some return to the front, some return to their duties in their country, but usually it is about 15 instructors who are constantly working to improve the training of our servicemen and volunteers.

The centre provides intensive training of units and subunits of light infantry in the following directions (combined according to the priorities of a specific unit; total duration ≈ 400 hours):

■ topography and basics of local orientation;
■ tactical medicine;
■ tactical equipment, camouflage, communications;
■ small arms and shooting basics;
